THE rain luckily held off for the procession of St Breward Carnival, on Saturday, July 1.

There were a good number of entrants including a variety of floats this year however, just as the entrants began to gather at the St Breward Football Club, the rain started in earnest developing into a heavy mizzle and restricting the live entertainment performing outside the marquee.

Prize giving, as always, was held in the dry inside the marquee, with compere Trevor Ternouth.
