THE annual raft race organised by the Looe Boat Owners Association (LBOA) drew a large crowd.

A total of 139 adults and 27 juniors took part on Sunday. Organiser Dave Peat said: 'The generosity of people was quite humbling and, though the final sum is not yet known, we estimate that £2,300 has been raised for Looe Lifeboats.' Results: Adult Fun: 1 Rivercroft Rafters, 2 Monkey Sanctuary, 3 Ellie's Haven. Junior Fun: 1 Looe Sailing Club, 2 Beach Gang, 3 Viking Warriors. Adult Fancy Dress: Old Malt House B&B. LBOA Special Award for Most Spectacular Raft: Viking Warriors Junior Raft.
