THE Launceston branch of the NSPCC held a fund raising quiz night at Launceston Golf Club on Saturday, February 11.
All the money raised will be donated to the NSPCC, the leading children’s support charity who work closely with children and their families who have been abused or neglected.
The chairman of Launceston branch of the NSPCC Martin Ryan said: “I would like to thank the [Launceston Golf] club for hosting the event and supporting our charity.
“I would also like to thank Tescos for providing the snacks once again and all those on the committee who helped run the event and provide prizes for the raffle. A special thank you to John Wright who helped with the questions and equipment.”
The Launceston branch was delighted to raise a total of £415.30 on the evening and they have hopes to do another quiz later in the year.
