LAUNCESTON Flowerpatch Quilters (LFQ) welcomed Beth Roberts, representative of the Cure Parkinson's Trust to its annual general meeting on Thursday, October 10.
The group had raised £3,000 for the charity by making and raffling a patchwork quilt at its August exhibition.
Beth explained that the Cure Parkinson's Trust was founded in 2005 to raise money to fund and facilitate research into finding a cure for this disabling neurological condition.
