COMEDY duo Ant and Dec brought their television show to Bude on Saturday night, after hiding one of their sofas on Summerleaze Beach.

Fans of the ITV show, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, were quick to recognise the four secret locations.

Viewers who are close by are encouraged to get to the location as quickly as possible to be in with a chance of winning a place in next week’s studio audience.

It did not take long for a large number of Bude area residents to recognise the beach huts on Summerleaze, before scrambling off their own sofas to make it down to the beach.

Unfortunately, Saturday’s prize went to a family from another location, who were picked at random from the entrants.
