POLICE in Holsworthy are appealing for information after a number of items were stolen from an outbuilding on a farm in Pancrasweek.
The burglary took place sometime between 5pm on Wednesday, June 10 and 5.30am on Friday, June 12.
Items stolen included a blue Yamaha Grizzly quad bike; a Logic trailer (model number XT740) and a 95 litre quad ATV spot sprayer with 10ft boom.
The spot sprayer was full of herbicide at the time and police are keen to speak to anyone who may have noticed anything unusual or seen anyone dumping the herbicide.
A Jonsered chainsaw and a Kolpin cargo box which attaches to the front of a quad bike was also stolen, in addition to 100 litres of diesel which was taken from a tank.
The items were stolen from a couple of sheds on the farm, and PC Mandy Brown advised members of the public to look at the security of their outbuildings and consider getting security devices for quad bikes, which only cost a small amount of money.
If anyone has any information relating to the theft, please contact PC Brown at Holsworthy Police Station on 08452 777444, quoting log reference number CH/09/203.
