A PYWORTHY mother and daughter have ran together for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of their mutual friend and paternal grandmother.

Angela Martin and her 11-year-old daughter Holly, recently took part in the Great North Half Marathon and four-kilometre junior run in Newcastle.

They were raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of their friend, Bern Inniss, who sadly passed away in April 2011 and mother-in-law and grandma, Celia Martin, who passed away in January this year.
