SUTCOMBE Primary School held a harvest morning recently for parents and pupils.

Parents came in to work with their children to make food using harvested fruit and vegetables. The children made vegetable soup, bread rolls, carrot cakes, mini apple pies and apple muffins.

The children used many different skills, such as working as part of a team, sharing and taking turns. They also had to use their mathematical skills to follow a recipe making sure they measured out the ingredients carefully.
