CLASS 3 pupils at Whitstone Community Primary School were given a warm welcome from acting education officer Kirsten and senior chorister Jake on their recent visit to Truro Cathedral.
The youngsters found out about the history of the magnificent building, and learned the roles of key figures in its instigation, construction and development.
They later descended to the cathedral's crypt, where they viewed the death mask of Bishop Benson.
The pupils dressed in various ecclesiastical vestments and learned about some of the rituals that take place in the cathedral.
