AROUND 70 pupils from Tregadillett Primary School were invited by the Finnimore family last Thursday to come and look at their new wind turbine at Kennards House.

The Finnimores, who live near Tregadillett, have two sons, Ralph and Will, who both go to the school.

The school's Eco Council members had been invited to watch every stage of the turbine's construction so far and were eager to see the final stage.

The children were fascinated to hear that the wind turbine weighs the same as 30 elephants and is as high as nine two-storey houses.
