PUPILS at Camelford Primary School took 'steps' and raised more than £325 for Macmillan Cancer Care by holding a Dress Up and Dance day last Friday. The children made a donation in return for wearing dance clothes to school and then held a Strictly Come Dancing competition followed by a cake sale. The competition involved each class putting forward a group of talented dancers and the judges, who included former teacher Mrs Spetch, had a tough decision choosing the winners. There was also a surprise performance from staff at the school! For the full report, and a round up of the area news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.
