LEWANNICK Primary School pupils and staff celebrated their recent Ofsted report by visiting iBounce Trampoline Park in Bodmin.
The Ofsted visit in January was the first for eight years and the inspection found that the leadership team had maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last report in 2009.
Staff were particularly proud that morale was found to be high in the school and it was noted that they all ‘work well together as a team, with the one aim of improving pupils’ education’. The school also prides itself on the relationship it has with parents and the local community and this was reflected in the inspector’s findings.
Parents were quoted in the report as regarding the school as ‘an exciting and inspiring place’ with ‘amazing opportunities’, a place where ‘children are actively encouraged to be good citizens, treat each other with respect and care for one another’.
