RESIDENTS of Bude are toasting the success of a new brewery located in the town.

Bude Brewery was opened in January, and has received brilliant and immediate support from the public.

Business manager Phil Brown, who is one of three staff, along with director Mark Fry and head brewer Sabrina Boudler, said: "The reception of Bude Brewery has been amazing. The local people think it's exciting and can only bring more tourists to the area. We have had such great reviews from the public and landlords.

"Our short-term aim is to get our ales in all of the local pubs, and make people aware of who we are, and how good we are too."
