IN PERFECT spring weather a day of fun and fierce but friendly competition between teams representing five pubs in Holsworthy was enjoyed by competitors and spectators on Sunday, May 5, writes Christine Williams.
The day began with a rugby tournament in Stanhope Park with teams of ten players playing each other in a round robin which was won by the Kings Arms who scored 81 points.
There was also a ladies rugby match in which the Rydon Inn beat the White Hart by 20 to 15 points.
