HOLSWORTHY'S public conveniences could be locked overnight if vandalism continues in the ladies toilet.

Richard Haste, services manager from Torridge District Council, informed members of Holsworthy Town Council Highways Committee, at September's meeting, that toilet roll was being stolen and its holder repeatedly ripped off the wall.

It was explained that if this continued, the toilets may have to close overnight.
