THE people of Holsworthy are to receive the opportunity to air their views on how £130,000 should be spent to improve the town centre.

Almost a year after the idea for regeneration was brought to light, a Holsworthy Town Centre Plan has been formed and will soon be submitted to Torridge District Council (TDC).

It is hoped that TDC will recognise the need for improvements and endorse the £200,000 needed for the project. The money is from a Section 106 Agreement inconjunction with Tesco.

Once the town council receives the money, the plan will be available for public comment.
