Sir, In last week's edition of the Tenby Observer, Pembrokeshire County Council gave notice of their intention to sell an area of land forming the gardens to the south of the Coal Office Building, to Saundersfoot Harbour Commission, for the purpose of facilitating the regeneration of Saundersfoot harbour front. Any person wishing to object to the intended disposal is requested do so in writing. How can we be expected to reach an informed decision about the intended sale and submit well reasoned objections when no details have been presented to the community of the proposed re-development of the Coal Office and its gardens? In the interest of democracy, a public meeting/presentation should be held before the closing date of May 15.

Mrs. Gillian Collins,

Saundersfoot.
