LAUNCESTON & District Cats Protection held a bumper jumble sale at Lifton Church Hall recently. The hall was packed with stalls overflowing with bargains, as usual, plus a raffle and light refreshments were served.
The weather was not very kind and some very heavy rain was endured by people waiting for the opening. Nevertheless the grand sum of £380.90 was raised which will help considerably with the branches never-ending work.
Thanks were expressed to all who braved the weather to support the branch and all those who gave their time setting up and helping on the day.
