FARMERS have said they will demonstrate against the amount they receive for their dairy products if supermarket giants fail to listen to their concerns, writes 'Post' reporter, Natalie Venning.
Around 450 farmers from Penzance to Weston-Super-Mare packed in to Holsworthy Memorial Hall on Wednesday, April 24 to hear a talk on dairy prices.
Five per cent of the national milk supply industry was represented at the event, which equates to 500-million litres of milk.
Welsh farmer David Handley, of Action for Farmers, was the guest speaker at the event organised by local businessmen Glen Johns, of Holsworthy, and James Cann, of Bradworthy.
