Proposed alterations and extensions to a domestic dwelling have been approved by Cornwall Council.
The application was made by Mr and Mrs Elia for their property at 23 Dunheved Fields, Launceston.
The proposals were supported by Launceston Town Council.
Cornwall Council approved the works, subject to a condition related to windows. The condition stated: “Before the first occupation of the extension hereby approved, the windows on the upper floor of the east elevation shall be fitted with fixed, obscure glazing and the windows shall be permanently retained and maintained as such thereafter; and no further openings shall be introduced on the east elevation.
“Reason: To protect the privacy of neighbours and residents and to secure accordance with Policy 12 of the Cornwall Local Plan Strategic Policies 2010-2030 (Adopted 22nd November 2016) and paragraph 130 of the National Planning Policy Framework 2021.”
