PA23/01148: A proposed single-storey pitched/flat roof rear extension with internal alterations for a property in St Breward has been approved by Cornwall Council.
One resident observed that as the site abuts on common land, the applicant or contractors should not obstruct or prevent public use of the commons/access land.
Mr Martin Wright said: “The proposed development site abuts registered common land on its northern and eastern boundaries. The common is registered under unit No's CL 195 and C 113 and are known as additional land at St. Breward Common and Church Hay Down. Part 3 of the Commons Act 2006 concerns works on common land, however as the site is not part of the common, I see no reason to object to the development on common land issues.
“The applicant and their representatives including contractors should not obstruct or prevent the publics' use of the common/access land should the application be approved.”
Cornwall Council told the applicants, Mr and Mrs French, that they would approve the planning application.
