IN the second half on Saturday the Cornish All Blacks probably played the best they have all season as they scored 27 unanswered points to gain a bonus point victory, scoring five tries, for the second successive week. However, Hertford only had 14 players from the 23rd minute when their blind side flanker Brett McNamee was red carded for striking All Black flanker Josh Lord on the ground, Lord was yellow carded.

In this clash in Hertfordshire with both clubs in the lower reaches of the table, Hertford particularly were in desperate need of a win. As they only trailed 10-7 at half time they must have thought that on home ground if they upped their attacking play they could grab a win. It wasn't to be the All Blacks were the ones that went up an extra gear, scoring four tries.

They produced some breathtaking inter-passing with pack and backs combining in some superb moves. The Hertfordshire club had no answer to the thrilling display of open rugby which the visitors put on in the last 40 minutes.
