THE Post’s local Young Farmers’ Clubs and members picked up a range of prizes at the show this year.
Georgia Monk, YFC county chairman and Lostwithiel YFC member, said of the show: “It’s been really good, great footfall through the marquee.
“The members have done amazingly with all their entries. The standards are really high and the cubicles are absolutely fantastic.”
The cubicle competition theme this year was British Inventions Through Time. First place was Wadebridge; 2nd Lostwithiel and 3rd Threemilestone.
Among the cups, Camelford Young Farmers’ Club picked up was the overall points Silver Jubilee Challenge Cup.
Launceston Young Farmers’ Club picked up a 1st place prize on the Saturday for the NFYFC ‘Radio Show Live’.
