A YOUNG girl from Stibb Cross won a huge chocolate bunny from Waitrose over Easter but has selflessly donated it to the patients and families at the local hospice.
Seven-year-old Lydia Andrew realised that the 1kg Lindt chocolate bunny she had won would take her quite a while to get through so decided to generously donate it to the patients and their families at the North Devon Hospice Long House outreach centre in Holsworthy.
The patients, their families and the supportive care team said they were ‘absolutely overwhelmed’ by how kind and selfless Lydia had been.
