Putting the 'Royal' in to this year's Royal Cornwall Show (June 4, 5 and 6) will be Princess Alexandra, who will attend the show on the Friday.
No stranger to the show, this will be the sixth visit Her Royal Highness has made to the event.
Her first was in 1960 which was also the first year the show was held at the permanent showground at Wadebridge after being an itinerant event since 1793.
As usual, the Princess will enjoy an informal and friendly tour of the show. Her interests include animals and horticulture.
With another exceptional entry across the competitive livestock and equine classes, and an increased entry in the flower show, there will be plenty for Her Royal Highness to see.
The Princess also has involvement in many military organisations, so it is likely that the programme at the show will reflect her varied personal interests.
Her Royal Highness was recognised for her interest in and support of the show by being made a vice president of the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association (RCAA) ahead of her most recent visit in 2009.
She had previously visited in 1981, the last show of the 20th century in 1999 and 2005.
This year's show, which runs from Thursday to Saturday, June 4-6, promises to be another feast of farming, entertainment and the finest Cornish food and drink.
The main ring acts will include heart-stopping stunts from ex-World Motocross Series racer Jason Smyth with his Adrenaline Tour, majestic eagles and vultures will feature in a special flying show and a display starring Devon & Cornwall Police Dogs.
