TINTAGEL Primary School’s PTFA held a summer fete recently to raise funds towards an adventure trim trail — something that every child will benefit from.
It was the most glorious summer’s day and everyone had worked so hard to set up a great variety of stalls for an afternoon of traditional family fun.
A fabulous amount of £1,033 was raised on the day. This combined with money already raised this year brings the school’s running total to roughly £6,500 — an astonishing amount for a small rural school.
They are still in the process of fundraising to reach their target, but they are half way to reaching their goal. The PTFA has extended thanks to everyone that attended, helped and supported the event.
