POLICE are investigating the theft of £1,400 of power tools from a building site in Trefew Road, Camelford.

Police said offenders entered a house under construction in the early hours of Friday, October 30 and stole the tools.

They escaped with various items including a Belle electric mixer, a Stihl disc-cutter, a Bosch hammer drill, a Dewalt impact driver, a Dewalt drill set and Bosch braker.

Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious activity or individuals in the road at the time of the offence.

They would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered the tools for sale.
