FEARLESS Betty Bone, of Poughill, recently took on the challenge of a 15,000ft skydive, despite celebrating her 75th birthday this year.

After a few cancellations due to the recent poor weather Betty finally jumped on Tuesday July 24, when a glorious morning allowed her to make the most of the views across to both the North and South Devon coastlines.

Betty, not wanting to jump on her own, persuaded her friend Nick Moon, a teacher at Exeter School to join her.
