THE BIG night is almost here at last! It's the 'Post' Gala concert in aid of the Children's Hospice South West Precious Lives Appeal at Penstowe Leisure and Cabaret Suite, Kilk­hampton, tomorrow (Fri­day) night at 7.30pm. And the weather forecast is very good. There are still some tickets available (our Ticket Hotline numbers are Bill Roberts on 01566 778215 and Sue West on 01566 778200) and you can call to ask for tickets to be left at the door with your name on. Tickets are only £5 each — a small price for a wonderful evening of entertainment which will help create a third hospice in Cornwall to the lasting benefit of children with life-limiting illnesses and their parents and carers. Raffle tickets will also be available on the door and programmes will be on sale at 50p each. Our compere for the evening will be 'Tank' Sherman (pictured), who will also round off proceedings with his own inimitable act.
