RESIDENTS from towns and villages across the 'Post' area united to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday, September 30, as they celebrated the annual 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning'.

Establishments in Launceston, Kilkhampton and Callington were amongst those nationwide taking part in the event, which has become the most popular of the charity's fundraising events.

Last year 43,000 people signed up to hold a coffee morning, raising over £8 million. It is hoped this year's support will equal and even surpass that figure.
