STAFF members from the Launceston branch of Webbers Estate Agents set up a pop up stall in the town square recently in order to raise money for the children’s charity NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children).
In just a few hours they managed to raise over £142 by selling some bedding plants grown from seed over the last few months along with cakes that some of the staff and friends spent the evening before baking!
The local Co-op store also kindly donated further cakes for sale.
Assistant manager of Webbers Launceston, Lisa White, said: “We had a great time on a lovely sunny day helping raise money for this valuable charity that is close to all our hearts, myself and the team were most grateful for the generosity of the people of the town and their valuable support.”
