A group of friends who met through the Camelford Women's Institute were looking for a fundraising project that would benefit the town. They were aware that the Pop-In Centre was a much-used local facility, which was in need of some new chairs. It was for this reason that they set about making biscuits to raise the cash. It began in February when they made valentine's Day heart-shaped biscuits that were sold by Jo Olde in the Mason's Arms. They then made and sold Cornish Fairings during the Charter month and

managed to raise enough cash to purchase a high back chair, three cushions and a pack of tea bags!
