A disappointing second half performance from Brad' allowed Braunton to take all three points at Lobb Field.
Bradworthy were punished for their sluggish start when Curtis Netherway raced in behind the Brad defence and delicately chipped the ball over the advancing 'keeper.
It appeared Brad may have had luck on their side though when Toby Curtis won Brad' a very contentious penalty for an off the ball infringement. Carlo Chandler calmly slotted the ball into the net and suddenly Bradworthy began to play. Andy Cotton, starting in a central midfield position, tested the opposition with a couple of penetrating runs and Gary Clarke's set piece delivery was causing Braunton a lot of issues.
On the stroke of half time it was Braunton who moved in front again. A defence splitting pass from Mark Sanders released Jake Barwick who coolly finished under pressure.
Brad' started the second half in much the same lethargy as they opened the game and poor marking allowed Ryan Dempsey to head Braunton in to a two goal lead. This seemed to knock all confidence out of the Brad side and their hosts began to enjoy near total domination as the game wore on.
More slack marking from a corner allowed an easy tap in for James Rimmer to make it four and then a freak fifth goal completed the rout: Sanders' inswinging corner kick finding its way directly in to the net.
It took Brad' until minutes from the end to muster their real first effort of the second half but Clarke's right foot drive from outside the box whistled narrowly wide of the upright.
