LAUREN Rathbone has been elected onto Camelford Town Council.
An election to fill a vacant seat was held on September 6, with the polling station at Souls Harbour, Clease Road.
Three candidates received the following votes: Ayla Ackroyd-Johnson — 110; James Carr (Independent) — 65; and Lauren Rathbone — 123.
Out of an electorate of 2,374, the turnout was 12.6%
Ms Rathbone (right) was due to attend her first town council meeting on Tuesday.
