HOLSWORTHY police will be holding a 'have your say' stall at Holsworthy Market next Wednesday (January 22) for people to come and discuss any issues they may have.

PCSO Mark James said: "We are there for people to come and discuss any or just for a chat. We will also have with us the Hermes Property database System, a property marking database. It is a quick and easy way to register items such as a mobile phone straight onto the Police National Database. This is free for the public and creates them an account with Immobilise. They are then able to add other items to their account by inputting the serial number."

The benefits of registration include: Immobilise helps UK Police forces to identify the owner of lost and stolen goods thousands of times every day; loss and theft updates you make are immediately available to the police nation-wide.

It combats the sale of stolen property, alert the second hand trade and the publicly checkable stolen goods database, CheckMEND, if an item goes missing and it simplifies insurance claims and the police reports with certificates of ownership.

All these features are unique to Immobilise and provided free.
