POLICE are calling for witnesses after a fire was started deliberately in the ladies toilets next to the bus shelter on North Road in Holsworthy on Tuesday, October 18.

PFCSO Mark James said: “The incident at the bus stop was a very small fire which was deliberately lit, in the ladies toilets at the bus stop.

“The fire service was called by a passing member of the public but the fire was already out when they arrived and there was very minor damage to a toilet seat.

“Obviously this kind of behaviour is incredibly dangerous and irresponsible. If anyone witnessed anybody behaving suspiciously in that area at around 6.30pm to 6.45pm on Tuesday, the police would like to hear from them.”
