BOSCASTLE Pre-school celebrated its second Christmas in its new building on Friday, December 16.

Since its move, organisers have increased their opening times from 8am to 6pm from Monday to Friday for 50 weeks of the year.

Afterschool pickups from the local school are being held and numbers have increased. Two staff members are carrying out their Early Years Professional Status degrees.

Karina Stollery from the pre-school said: "What are we asking Father Christmas for this year? Less emphasis on paperwork and more on achievements plus, of course, more money.

"If he could fulfil our wishes, our 40 year long dream would be complete. Our own amazing building and grounds combined with the freedom and resource to fully utilize them. The most common complaint from parents this year 'our children don't want to go home'. We can live with that!"
