THE annual harvest songs was held at the Hallworthy Market on Friday, October 4.
Around 50 of the local farming community gathered at the market for the event.
The music was led by St Gennys Silver Band, who gave a rousing performance of the ever popular Harvest Hymns.
The guest speaker was Mark Shepherd (vet) of Torrington.
During the service a collection was made for the Farm Community Network (formerly Farm Crisis Network) which raised £100 for the charity.
The event was followed by light refreshments at the market cafe, then an auction of produce at the Wilsey Down Hotel.
