The first ever open access play ranger scheme took place at Tintagel on Monday, May 11. Approximately 40 children enjoyed painting, making clay models, playing rounders, cricket, football, and practising various circus skills. This is a weekly run event for all under 16s (under 5s must be supervised) to come along and play games and enjoy the great outdoors. Heidi Burgess from the playing fields committee, said: "Why not come and join us from 3.30pm til 5.30pm every Monday, except bank holidays, whatever the weather. You don't have to stay for two hours, it can be for just five

minutes, but I bet the children will not want to leave. This all happens at Tintagel Memorial Playing Fields."
