The village hall in St Breward was a positive hive of activity with a happy buzz of social conversation as neighbours and friends met up to sample all the crafts and goods offered by the various local groups and traders to promote their activities and raise funds.
A village market was organised by the hall committee who kept a steady supply of refreshments available which raised £234 to help install the solar panels on the hall roof.
The many organisations and societies in the parish included the Brownies and Guides, raising money to complete their new toilet block, the history group which needs storage for the archives, the handbell ringers, the toddler playgroup and the parish church.
