BUDE Friends of the Earth, with support from Bude-Stratton Town Council, began work on Sunday, creating a wildflower/biodiversity trail.
They will be planting and seeding three areas — a natural, grassy space, a herbaceous border and a wildflower bank.
Bees have lost 97% of their grassland habitats in the last 60 years so the trail, near Bude is designed to attract a variety of pollinators.
