DESPITE a last minute decision to take on the village plant sale, St-Giles-on-the-Heath hall committee raised around £145 on Saturday (June 1).
The event was combined with a coffee morning and enjoyed by a number of people. The money will go towards the hall car park tarmac works which is expected start at the beginning of July.
Hall committee chairman, Ken Hamlyn said: "We had a very good turnout and are very pleased with the sales and coffee morning. Thanks to all stall holders and customers who came to support."
