PA23/00506: A loft conversion to form additional bedrooms and a shower room at the property known as 45 Valley Road, Bude has been approved by Cornwall Council.

The application was made by Mrs Ruth Perkins.

One neighbour objected, with Ms Claire Neve saying: “This building has already taken place. Other neighbours are away. There is an impact on privacy with the back window in the roof overlooking the two homes behind. Trees and greenery shield to an extent.”

Bude-Stratton Town Council also observed that the works had already taken place, saying: “No objection. BSTC would note that the conversion has already taken place and therefore should be a retrospective application. BSTC do have some concerns regarding overlooking issues.”

Cornwall Council granted permission for the development with no additional conditions stipulated.
