THE cut-through to Victoria Square in Holsworthy has once again been re-opened.

Once the news broke on social media (Monday, June 14), locals have had a mixed reaction.

Some have welcomed the news saying, “At last” and “I could never understand why it was closed off in the first instance”.

Where as others have been against the route re-opening. Some said: “Shame... I liked it being a pedestrian walk though like the high street is,” and “What a shame!”
