HILLTOP Farm Shop, at Slaughterbridge, was up for discussion at the recent meeting of Camelford Town Council after an application to extend their cafe and farm shop was submitted.

Councillors met on Thursday night, February 7 to discuss a range of topics, including the planning application from the Down family at Hilltop Farm Shop. The application proposes to extend the existing farm shop and cafe to provide additional shop and cafe floor areas, together with an extension to the existing car parking area.

Straight away, Cllr Andy Shaw was positive about the application and the business as a whole. He said: “I have no objection to these plans.”

Mayor, Cllr Kirsty Ferguson, added: “They are fabulous and always support the town.”

Councillors voted unanimously to support the plans.

The final decision is expected to be made by Cornwall Council.
