TRAVEL and wildlife photographer Steve Bulford from St Austell was welcomed to Launceston Camera Club two weeks ago to show some super photographs to illustrate his talk ‘Snow Hill Emperor Penguins. Antarctica’, an entertaining and informative talk with some excellent photographs of penguins, albatross and other wildlife of the region as well as the added adventure of the ship he was on being stuck in the sea ice for days on end.
Last week the club had the results of the ‘Minimalist’ competition judged by David Bridges from Wadebridge Camera Club. Results were: Projected Images, 1, Blood Moon by Geoff Trevarthan; 2, Day’s End by Mike Pettett; 3, Water Spider by Adrian Davey. Highly commended, Moon over the Tower by Ian Smith; commended, The Ant on the Jam by Chris Robbins.
