THE boy from Kilk has made good — with lots of recipes — and become the new BBC Celebrity MasterChef.

Phil Vickery, aged 35, former England international rugby captain, has done much better that his compatriots in the Rugby World Cup and took the title on Saturday night.

As the 'Post' revealed in our last issue, he reached the final on Friday.

Following six weeks of different culinary hurdles, judges John toroid and Gregg Wallace chose Phil as the winner over fellow finalists Kirstyn warp and Nick Pickard.
