STAGS' Launceston seminar was the biggest of a series of such events held in Cornwall and Devon.
The seminars, which took place last month, focused on recent changes to the permitted development rights.
These allow the conversion of agricultural buildings to dwellings, which proved a popular topic.
Stags joined forces with Hodgsons Accountants and Coodes Solicitors, for the Launceston and Truro seminars, and Simpkins Edwards Accountants and Peter, Peter and Wright Solicitors for the Holsworthy seminar.
Jo Maynard, from Stags Professional Services in Cornwall and Nicola Palfrey used a case study to discuss the practical implications to the farming business of converting a building.
Ben Stephens, partner of Stags, said: "The Launceston seminar was the largest Stags have held throughout the year, exceeding 140 in attendance."
