Planning permission is required for the construction of an access track needed to provide better access to land at Bagbury Farm, Bagbury Road, Bude.
That’s the response from Cornwall Council to the applicant, Mr D Short.
Cornwall Council responded to the prior notification application stating planning permission was needed, saying: “ The proposed development is not considered to constitute permitted development as defined in Class A of Part 6, Paragraph A of Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended) on the basis that the information available to the Local Planning Authority does not indicate that there is an established agricultural trade or business operating from the land parcel identified.
"Consequently, the site does not comprise agricultural land that is in use for agricultural purposes for a trade or business. Therefore, planning permission must be obtained via the submission of a planning application to the local planning authority.”
