WITH the sun shining, this made perfect weather conditions for Bude's annual charity Easter Monday fun run in aid of Cornwall Air Ambulance.

Over 108 runners arrived at Bude Rugby Club for the start of the two races, the Junior 1km event and the 5km Senior event. The route along the tow path through Upton joined the coastal path on the return to Bude, a course which allowed various difficulty for the runner.

An organiser of the event commented: "The weather was perfect for this year's event attracting over 108 entries, with a few more canine athletes than the last few years, the canines were obviously taking their racing more seriously as the fancy apparel was less evident.
